YOUTH SPORTS

Summer Youth Basketball
       Age 4 - 17, Co-Ed

Registration: May 4 - June 6, 2009
Practice Begins: Week of June 15, 2009
Parents Meeting: Week of June 8th
Coaches Meeting: June 6th at 10:00 am @ YMCA
Games Begin: June 27, 2009 (8 weeks)
Fee for YMCA Family Member: $ FREE
Fee for YMCA Youth Member: $ 45
Fee for Non-Member: $80

Practices will begin: The week of June 15th
Parents are responsible for their child's transportation.
Games begin: June 26th & June 27th.
Games will be on Friday nights and/or Saturdays. Schedules will be given out the first week of practice.

Summer Little Dribblers

       Age 3, Co-Ed

Registration: May 4th - June 6, 2009
Practice Begins: Week of June 15th
Games Begin: June 27, 2009 (8 weeks)
Fee for YMCA Family Member: $ FREE
Fee for YMCA Youth Member: $ 25
Fee for Non-Member: $50

Summer Cheerleading

       Ages 6 - 12, Co-Ed

Practice Begins: Week of June 15th

Practices are Tuesdays & Thursdays, 6 - 8 pm at Tangelwood Elementary, beginning June 16th. Games are Friday nights, time & location TBD, beginning June 26th.

Any registration taken after the final date will have a $10 lake fee.

All participants will receive organizational and additional league information upon registration. Coaches and team assignment information will be handed out at the parent meeting.

The date and time of meetings are listed in materials you will receive at time of registration.

PLEASE NOTE: Many people ask if they may request a particular coach or practice day for Sports. Requests can be listed in “Comments” section of the enrollment form. We will make every effort to accommodate requests, however, due to the number of participants requests are not guaranteed. We strongly recommend that parents attend the Parent Meeting where they will receive information regarding their child’s team assignment and day of practice. If possible, changes will be made at that time.

What it takes to be a coach:

Belief in the Y-Winners philosophy - kids first, winning second.
Time - 2-3 hours/week for practices and games.
No experience is needed (training is provided).

Benefits: Fun quality time with your child and other children, opportunity to be trained in a new skill and a chance to share with others.

ADULT SPORTS

Sports leagues have an 8-week round robin format and end with a single elimination tournament. Individual or team registrations are accepted. Teams must provide matching jerseys. For 18 years and older.

All Adult Sports Teams fees are to be paid by the first scheduled game or your team will be removed from the schedule.
